Thank you for visiting the Prism Tea website. I'm Megumi, the founder of Prism Tea.

It was the end of summer in 2011.
One day, I woke up suddenly and couldn't get up properly.

My legs gradually stopped moving. Excruciating pain shot through my entire body.

It felt as if glass was flowing through my veins, every single day and night.

The diagnosis I finally received was "fibromyalgia."

I took a leave of absence from work and was practically bedridden. I could only sleep for 2-3 hours each night.

In those days of despair, there was only one moment when the pain disappeared.

That was when I was cooking, conversing with plants.

Vegetables had, before I knew it, become my confidantes.

I stood in the kitchen, listening intently to what my body was craving at that moment.

Only during that time was there no pain.


And then, before I knew it, the pain subsided.


A year and a half later, the fibromyalgia was completely cured.


From this experience, I became certain of one thing:

That

"the body is made of what you eat."

And

"what is important is invisible to the eye."


I became strongly convinced that the power of plants is real.

After that, I ventured into the world of plant-based cooking, spending my days working with plants.


Then, in February 2025, during a visit to Australia, I was guided by "seven colors of light."

I received a message from the plants, "deliver seven colors of light," and from there, an astonishing synchronicity occurred, leading me on a journey that connected the plants of Japan and Australia.

The inspiration I received at that time is the origin of Prism Tea.

What the plants taught me was to "harmonize with the seven colors of light."

Thus, seven types of herbal teas were born, themed around the "chakras," the seven energy centers in the human body.

A single cup of tea is not just about hydration.

Just as light transforms into seven colors through a prism, herbs also become the energy and color that each of us needs "now," deeply harmonizing the seven colors of the chakras.


Some people shed tears the moment they drink it.
Some say their soul was stirred.
Some are moved by their own life.

That's not a coincidence.

It's because the overwhelmingly pure vibrational love of plants resonates with the water in our bodies.

Our bodies tell us honestly.

    Furthermore, some of our herbs, for example, are lovingly grown pesticide-free by farmers in Myanmar. A portion of our sales contributes to a system that supports the livelihoods of these farmers.
    Prism Tea strives to be a brand that continuously chooses a future where we live in a sustainable cycle, together with our companions on Earth.

Megumi / Founder of Prism Tea

After graduating from university, she worked in customer service at a foreign-affiliated five-star hotel.

Her experience overcoming a serious illness with the power of plants led her to the world of plant-based cuisine.

She has expanded her activities to include opening a cafe, catering, private chef services, cooking classes, and store management.

She has been living a nature-oriented lifestyle for about 15 years, engaging in dialogue with plants and her body.

On July 7, 2025, she launched her herbal tea brand, "Prism Tea." Centered around an online shop, she hosts original tea ceremony experiences, delivering the power and healing of plants.
