In an age of information overload | Herb tea time to bring you back to the "here and now"
Share
Do you find yourself exposed to so much information every day that your head feels overwhelmed?
Open social media, and information streams in one after another.
"What is right?"
"What should I do?"
If you overuse your mind in this way,
you might gradually lose touch with "how you truly feel."
Even I, especially when absorbed in work,
sometimes find my thoughts racing and my mind overflowing.
At such times,
I intentionally make time to brew herbal tea.

"How do I feel today?"
First, I ask myself this question.
Then, I choose a blend that seems right for my current state.
I take herbs from my favorite tin and pour hot water into the teapot.
The gentle scent of plants diffuses into the air.
I watch the dried herbs and petals slowly unfurl.

For the 5 minutes of steeping,
I simply observe them.
I take a sip of the herbal tea and feel the sensation as it circulates through my body.
As I do so,
my shallow breathing gradually deepens.
This time, for me,
is like a meditation.

The thoughts that were so busy before
become incredibly quiet, bringing my awareness back to "the here and now."
In our busy daily lives,
it's easy to lose sight of our true "sensations."
Feeling tired.
Wanting to rest.
Seeking comfort.
Wanting to sleep early today.
We tend to put these small sensations on the back burner.
But perhaps, in truth,
these very sensations are what are most important.
Rather than seeking external answers,
it's about listening to your inner feelings.
"How do I feel right now?"
By taking the time to ask yourself this question,
I feel that you can gradually reclaim your original sensibilities.

Prism Tea offers
seven blended herbal teas
that cater to various life themes.
