There's No Right Answer to Herb Tea Blending: Synergy and Harmony Between Plants

There's no single "correct" way to blend herbal teas.

Hearing that, you might think it means you can just mix whatever you like, however you like.

However, in reality,

it's not about randomly combining things, but rather a world where you learn about the unique characteristics of each plant and observe how they harmonize when blended together.

Each herb has its own aroma, taste, properties, and energy.

And with herbal tea blends,

the impression changes significantly depending on the combination.

For example,

a taste that might be a bit sharp on its own can become mellow and balanced when blended with another plant.

Sometimes, one plant can enhance the appeal of another.

Occasionally, a depth or comfort can emerge that wouldn't have been present in the individual herbs.

Each herb contains medicinal properties.

When herbs are blended, synergistic effects are created.

It's as if the plants are communicating with each other in the pot.

That's why

there's no such thing as "this blend is absolutely correct."

The plants you want to choose will change depending on your physical condition, your mood, your preferred scent, and what kind of time you want to spend today.

"How do I feel today?"

"What scent am I drawn to today?"

"What taste do I want to drink?"

Being able to create original blends freely, while valuing these sensations, is one of the joys of blending herbal teas.

At Prism Tea,

in addition to plant knowledge, we also emphasize "choosing plants based on your own intuition."

Facing plants might also be a time for facing yourself.
